College Council

Get involved with The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences

If you want to help us build a better college, inspire fellow students and shape the university, consider joining a student opportunity within The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. From recruiting new Sun Devils to building unity at university affairs, you’ll be able to make a difference within our college and for our students.

The College Council is a student government organization for The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. We work to build unity within The College and engage students in university affairs, activities and events relating to the college.

We also work closely with the Undergraduate Student Government Senate. The College Council has the opportunity to work with all seven senators that represent The College in the Senate. Senators attend each meeting to update the council on Senate matters as well as to seek out our opinions on campus-wide legislation.

By developing a sense of community, representing students, providing an interface for communication between students and the administration, hosting events, actively engaging students in constructive dialogue and working cooperatively with other student organizations, The College Council hopes to make The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Arizona State University an even more exciting and productive experience for all.

For more information, please contact council President Alejandro Mejia or Vice President Jade Porche.

The College Council is advised by Jeffrey Banner.

Meetings are every other Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Armstrong Hall.
