Get involved with The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Council
If you want to help us build a better college, inspire fellow students and shape the university, consider joining a student opportunity within The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
The College Council is a student government organization for The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. We work to build unity within The College and engage students in university affairs, activities and events related to The College. The College Council hopes to make The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Arizona State University an even more exciting and productive experience for all by
- developing a sense of community.
- representing students.
- providing an interface for communication between students and the administration.
- hosting events.
- actively engaging students in constructive dialogue.
- working cooperatively with other student organizations.
We also work closely with the Undergraduate Student Government Senate. The College Council has the opportunity to work with all five senators that represent The College in the Senate. Senators attend each meeting to update the council on Senate matters as well as to seek out our opinions on campus-wide legislation.
For more information, please contact council President Jade Porche.
To contact your senators, please visit ASU Undergraduate Student Government.
The College Council is advised by Jeffrey Banner.
Meetings are every other Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Memorial Union. Contact Jade Porche for more information.
