Give to our scholarship fund and impact our students

If you want to positively impact our students in The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Arizona State University, we encourage you to consider contributing to one of our scholarship funds. Your support is paramount to ensuring our students can attend college and continue pursuing their dreams. We greatly appreciate your generosity as it helps us fulfill our mission of educating scholars who will make a difference in the world after graduation.

The College's Early Start program invites select students, many the first in their family to attend a university, to engage in campus life two weeks prior to the start of classes. Early Start students get immersed in the Sun Devil experience, working with faculty and mentors, settling into their residence halls and enjoying social and academic activities with peers from their degree program. Many Early Start alumni credit the program with helping them to feel comfortable and confident in their new college environment, and for introducing them to friendships they kept throughout their years at Arizona State University.

Students who are the first in their families with an opportunity to earn a college degree are twice as likely to leave school before their sophomore year, are more dependent on financial aid and are more likely to be employed while attending school. These scholarships support students by easing financial pressure, allowing first-generation students to focus on academics and participate in campus activities. One-third of the freshmen at ASU are first-generation college students.

Give

Most academic units in the college have less than $10,000 in scholarships each year to recognize deserving students. These scholarships support students in degree programs throughout the college. Support for existing scholarships help increase the annual scholarship amounts awarded to students. General scholarship support allows departments or schools to create merit- and need-based scholarships for undergraduate students.
