The Dubois family bleeds maroon and gold
Arizona State University alumna Allison DuBois, the inspiration behind the television show “Medium,” sends her current fourth-generation junior Aurora and her youngest daughter Sophia to the rivalry game against the Arizona Wildcats in hopes of extending the family tradition to another DuBois woman. Allison hopes the territorial cup game will move ASU to the top of her daughter’s list; after all, Sparky was Sophia’s third word.
Research shaped student’s future
Being on ASU’s International Genetically Engineered Machine team convinced alumnus Ryan Muller that he wanted to pursue synthetic biology as a graduate student, and that he was good at it. Muller continues to appreciate the way the School of Life Sciences and the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry supported his research efforts by giving him all the necessary recourses to develop his own projects and succeed.
